Sources we prefer
- Official sources for fees, hours and entry rules: for example the Grand Palace's own site (Bureau of the Royal Household) and Thailand's Immigration Bureau.
- Provider listings for prices. These are what guides and platforms say they charge, labeled as provider self-claims and dated.
- Secondary sources (law-firm commentary, news reports) only when an official source isn't available to us, and always labeled as secondary.
Evidence labels
- Official: taken from the responsible authority's own page.
- Reported: stated by travel guides or news, but not confirmed on an official page.
- Provider listing: a price or inclusion stated by a seller.
- Our estimate: arithmetic or judgment based on the cited data, marked as such in the text.
Every guide lists its sources, with the date we checked each one and its main limitation. If we couldn't reach a source, the page says so. Missing information isn't treated as evidence either way.
What we won't publish
- Invented prices, quotes, reviews, ratings or "we tested this" claims.
- Rankings of individual guides.
- Legal or visa advice beyond what our cited sources say. Always check the official source for entry requirements.
Updates and corrections
We change a page's "updated" date and add an entry to its update history only for substantive changes, such as new prices, corrected facts or new sections. Price snapshots are refreshed about every quarter, and more often in the November–January high season.
Found an error? Email info@tourguidebangkok.com with the page and what's wrong. We correct confirmed errors and note them in the page history.
Images
We use openly licensed photos (mostly from Wikimedia Commons), credit them under each image and on the image credits page, and describe them accurately in alt text.
